Our light Lions design illustration

Detroit Lions personal check design with a pale central team emblem, light flowing background and blank check fields.
Our light Detroit concept uses a pale blue leaping-lion emblem over flowing white-and-gray bands, with slim blue borders.

Give your checkbook a personal look

Choose a Detroit scene that matters to you

Your own riverfront, skyline or neighborhood photograph can make the background personal. Start with a bright horizontal image and a simple composition. Leave some quiet space around the subject and check how the crop fits the writing fields.

Keep blue and silver-gray open and light

For original abstract artwork, combine blue accents with silver-gray or white space. Avoid dense dark blocks and tiny lettering. Preview the design at check size before uploading, rather than assuming every detail will remain visible.

What the Single Photo order offers

  • 80 checks per box: Single Photo, code 656, offers singles or duplicates. Duplicates keep a carbonless copy for your records.
  • Paid optional extras: white labels, a black standard cover and a register are listed separately. These are standard accessories, not a matching Lions package.
  • Review the full total: SentryShield is added for an extra charge and can be removed in the cart. Check delivery and any optional rush printing.

Merchant information checked October 9, 2026. Checks Unlimited shows your final price and selections before you pay.

Order photo checks in three steps

  1. Choose your format and quantity. Open Single Photo checks, select singles or duplicates and choose the number of boxes.
  2. Upload and inspect your image. Follow the current file instructions, adjust the crop and check the placement behind the writing fields.
  3. Proof the personalized order. Review printed details, the starting number, extras, delivery and total. Enter banking information only through the retailer’s ordering process.

Prefer a ready-made option? Sports Fanatic at Checks Unlimited features football, basketball, hockey and soccer, with coordinating address labels sold separately. It is a generic sports collection rather than a Detroit Lions product.

How to use these designs

  1. Download the design you like with its “Download artwork (JPG)” button. The file is already sized for a 6 × 2.75 in personal check and is under the 4 MB upload limit.
  2. Upload it on the photo-check page at Checks Unlimited (JPG or BMP, under 4 MB). Want up to four photos or a side-tear layout? See all Checks Unlimited photo check styles.
  3. Use the crop tool and preview to keep the helmet or the scene in the middle, away from the $ box and signature line, then check the preview before you order. The printer lightens the image so your bank can read the check, so it will look softer on paper than on screen.

Free for personal use on your own checks; see our image license. Not affiliated with the NFL or any team. Printers make the final call on every upload. Detroit Lions photo-check questions

Can I upload the Lions logo?

No. Checks Unlimited excludes NFL logos and copyrighted images from photo uploads. That includes a logo that shows up in your own photo, so keep it out of frame. Review the retailer’s image rules for the details. The easy route is one of our free logo-free Lions designs above, made to download and upload.

What file should I prepare?

The photo-product FAQ specifies JPG/JPEG or BMP, at least 432 × 198 pixels and a file smaller than 4 MB. This is the merchant’s minimum; choose a clear horizontal original with enough detail for your crop.

Will my photo print as dark as the original?

The retailer says it lightens images for check printing. Avoid relying on dark backgrounds or tiny details, and inspect the preview before ordering.

Will these work with my account?

Yes. Checks Unlimited prints standard personal checks with your bank’s routing and account numbers and verifies your bank details before printing. Copy the numbers exactly from a current check or your online banking.

Choosing a separate cover or labels? See our check-accessories guide and compare the seller’s current fit and design details.
