An Apple a Day checks for teachers, compared
An Apple a Day (Carousel item EDU-07) shows red and green apples in front of a classroom chalkboard across four rotating scenes. It is a long-running teacher design, still sold in singles and duplicates with matching labels.
Carousel also sells Apples (FOD-18), four close-up photos of red and green fruit without the classroom setting, and Dare To Be Different (FOD-36), an apple design with an inspirational quote. All three are priced the same. We did not find a teacher apple design at Checks Unlimited.
An Apple a Day (Carousel Checks, EDU-07). Apples on a chalkboard, four classroom scenes.
Dare To Be Different (Carousel Checks, FOD-36). An inspirational quote with apples, popular for classrooms.
Gifts for teachers
Because checks need the teacher’s own bank details, labels are the easier gift. Matching labels come in packs of 144 and are useful for marking classroom books and supplies. For more designs, see our teacher checks page.
Why the apple?
The apple has been linked to teachers since the 1800s, when families in rural America brought produce to the schoolhouse as a thank-you. The chalkboard backdrop on this set leans into that tradition, which is why it is a common pick for teachers, school staff and retired educators.
