Start with the type of design you want: a general sport, a team-inspired concept, or your own photo. A ready-made design needs no upload, while photo checks print a picture you took.
Designing a sports check
For an own-photo background, choose a simple horizontal image and review the retailer’s crop preview. Keep important details away from the writing fields. Frame the shot so big team logos aren’t the focus, since printers won’t reproduce trademarked logos. The printer’s image rules list the file sizes and formats it takes.
From a design idea to an order
- Choose a route. Browse a sport or team guide for ideas, or compare photo-check options for an image you own or have permission to reproduce.
- Check the actual product. At the selected retailer, confirm the current design or photo-upload option, check format, quantity and image requirements. If a ready-made design is available, no image upload is needed.
- Prepare your photo if needed. For photo checks, check rights and the retailer’s rules first. Follow that product’s file requirements and inspect its crop preview.
- Review before submitting. Enter personalization only on the retailer’s ordering page. Check spelling, account details, image placement, included items, optional extras, shipping and total. Confirm the printer accepts the image and product before completing an order.
Sports checks: common questions
What comes in an order? It depends on the printer: Checks Unlimited boxes hold 80 checks, most Carousel designs hold 100, and each product page lists what else is included. Our Check Companies guide compares prices, formats and box sizes across sellers.
Will my bank accept them? Checks Unlimited prints standard personal checks with your bank’s routing and account numbers and verifies your bank details before printing. If your bank has special requirements, confirm them before ordering.
Can I order the exact gallery image? No. The gallery images are design ideas, not print files. Open the sport or team guide to see the checks you can order, or use photo checks with your own picture.
Can I use my own sports photo? Yes. Upload it on the printer’s photo-check page. Shots of the crowd, the field or your family work best; keep big team logos out of the frame.
Does clicking a design upload it to a printer? No. GBC links open guides or retailer pages; they do not automatically transfer artwork. For photo checks, you upload your own picture on the retailer’s order page.
