The honest answer first: we couldn’t find officially licensed Marvel checks, Spider-Man, Avengers or X-Men included, for sale from any online check printer in October 2026. Marvel check pages that used to exist at other retailers no longer work. You still have two good options: licensed DC superhero checks from Checks Unlimited, or photo checks with your own Marvel-fan photo.

Why Marvel checks are hard to find
Character checks need a license from the character’s owner. Checks Unlimited, the main printer we track, licenses Disney classics, Warner Bros. characters, MLB teams and college teams. When we checked on October 17, 2026, it had no Marvel line. We also found no current Marvel checks at the other printers we follow. Licenses come and go, so we’ll update this page if a Marvel design comes back.
That matters for photo checks too. Printers can’t put licensed art on a check without permission. That’s why Checks Unlimited’s photo rules say “Copyrighted images cannot be reproduced, i.e. NFL logos.” The same rule covers Marvel characters, logos and comic panels.
Option 1: licensed DC superhero checks
If you want a comic book hero on your checks, DC is the licensed choice available today. Checks Unlimited sells five DC designs: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman Comics and The Justice League. On October 17, 2026, each was $26.49 for one box of 80 singles, $44.29 for two boxes and $81.79 for four boxes. Duplicates were $32.49 for one box.
Fans of team-up stories will probably like The Justice League design best. It’s the closest thing to an Avengers-style lineup. For a single hero, Batman is the most popular, and it comes with matching labels and a checkbook cover. Option 2: photo checks with your own picture
A photo check lets you put a picture you own on every check. For a Marvel fan, that could be:
- your kids in their homemade superhero costumes,
- you and your friends in cosplay at a convention,
- a family photo from opening night at the theater (your own photo of people, not the poster),
- a picture of your own handmade fan art, if it doesn’t copy Marvel’s characters or logos.
Keep it to photos you took and that don’t show copyrighted artwork. Checks Unlimited says its photos must be JPG or BMP, at least 432 by 198 pixels, clear, not too dark or too light, and in landscape orientation. A Single Photo check box was $28.49 for 80 singles, and four boxes were $87.69. There are also multi-photo designs that rotate up to four of your pictures.

One important note: any design ideas you see on GetBankChecks don’t transfer to your order. The printer only prints what you upload, and it can refuse images that break its rules.
What to avoid
- Sites claiming to print “Marvel checks” from downloaded art. Printing licensed characters without permission breaks the major printers’ rules. Your bank details are also too important to hand to a printer you can’t verify.
- Uploading screenshots, posters or comic panels to photo checks. Expect the order to be rejected.
- Old product links. Older Marvel check links around the web now lead to error pages.
