Monkey checks: Jen Goode’s Monkeys and a second monkey design
Jen Goode’s Monkeys (JEN-05) is a Carousel Checks original with four goofy cartoon monkeys in bright jungle colors. It is one of the more playful designs in Carousel’s cartoon line, which is probably why people searching for funny personal checks find this page.
If you want a different take on the theme, Carousel’s Monkeys and Bananas (GEP-74) uses a flatter graphic style with banana bunches and a color change on every check.

Monkeys and Bananas (Carousel Checks, GEP-74). Graphic monkeys with bananas in four colorways.

Monkey and funny check FAQs
Who sells monkey checks?
Carousel Checks has both monkey designs on this page. We did not find a monkey design at Checks Unlimited in October 2026.
What other cartoon personal checks are like this one?
Jen Goode also drew the pig set in Carousel’s line; see our Jen Goode’s Pigs page. Her designs share the same rounded, cheerful drawing style.
Are funny personal checks acceptable for paying bills?
Yes. Banks process checks by the numbers in magnetic ink, not by the picture. If you mostly write checks to businesses and want something quieter, choose a lighter design.
