How to order checks from Truist
BB&T and SunTrust merged in 2019 to form Truist, and Truist checks are printed by Deluxe.

- Business checks: order online, or call Deluxe at 800-559-6134 for first orders and reorders.
Old BB&T or SunTrust checkbook? Your account now belongs to Truist. If Truist gave you new routing or account numbers during the conversion, your new checks must use them. Copy them from Truist Online Banking or a recent statement, not from an old checkbook. Susquehanna Bank customers also ended up at Truist, through BB&T.

Cheaper option: order Truist-compatible checks online
Your checks don’t have to come from Truist. What makes a check work is the routing, account and check numbers printed in magnetic ink along the bottom, so any U.S. check printer can print them. Checks Unlimited verifies every order against your bank’s records.
If your checks still say BB&T or SunTrust, you’ll be ordering new ones anyway. That’s a good moment to compare prices and designs.

- Your Truist routing number (bottom left of a Truist check)
- Your checking account number
- A starting check number higher than your last check
- Your name and address exactly as Truist has them on file
- A current check to copy from (not a deposit slip)

- Enter your bank details, starting number, name and address.
- Preview carefully: printers print exactly what you type.

Security features
Truist’s checks come from Deluxe. When your bank name or numbers change after a merger, destroy unused old checks once you are told to stop using them.
Checks Unlimited lists a MicroPrint signature line (it turns dotted when copied), chemical and erasure protection, and a security screen on the back. Its optional SentryShield protection is added at extra cost and can be removed. Choose trackable delivery and store unused checks securely.
Delivery time
Truist’s help page doesn’t list a delivery time. Deluxe shows shipping choices during the order.
Checks Unlimited: printing usually takes 2–5 business days; standard delivery up to 15 business days, trackable 7–11; In-Plant Rush costs $6.99. If you’re nearly out, pay for rush or use the bank’s fastest option.
