  1. Online: log in to Arvest Online Banking and go to the account you’d like to order checks for. Click Online Statements, then select Order Checks.
  2. Finish at Deluxe: Arvest redirects you to the page of its check supplier, Deluxe, where you pick the design and quantity and complete the order.
  3. Arvest mobile banking app: Arvest lists the app as a reorder option too.
  4. By phone: personal checks, (877) 838-5287; business checks, (800) 252-3414. Have your 10-digit checking (or business checking) account number available.

Where your numbers are: the routing number is the first nine-digit number at the bottom left of an Arvest check, followed by your 10-digit account number and the check number.

Cheaper option: order Arvest-compatible checks online

Your checks don’t have to come from Arvest Bank. What makes a check work is the routing, account and check numbers printed in magnetic ink along the bottom, so any U.S. check printer can print them. Checks Unlimited verifies each order against your bank’s records before printing.

Arvest’s check FAQ doesn’t list prices; Deluxe shows them when you order. Compare: start an order through online banking to see your price, then check it against the printer prices below.

What you need

  • Your Arvest routing number (082900872, or the bottom left of a current check)
  • Your checking account number
  • A starting check number higher than your last check
  • Your name and address exactly as Arvest Bank has them on file
  • A current check to copy from (not a deposit slip)

Steps

  1. Pick a design and quantity (singles are cheapest; duplicates make a carbon copy).
  2. Enter your routing number, account number, starting check number, name and address.
  3. Check the preview carefully: printers print exactly what you type.
  4. Choose shipping (trackable is safer) and pay.
Check Quantity and price Per check
Carousel Blue Safety 1 box (100 checks) $20.00; 2 boxes $39.50; 4 boxes $79.00 about 20¢
Carousel Golden Retriever Pups 1 box (100 checks) $25.50; 2 boxes $46.00; 4 boxes $92.50 about 23–26¢
Checks Unlimited Blue Classic 1 box (80 checks) $23.49; 2 boxes $38.99; 4 boxes $72.29 about 23–29¢

Arvest Bank history

The Arvest story begins in Northwest Arkansas with The Bank of Bentonville, which had $3.5 million in deposits when it was purchased in 1961. A smaller bank in nearby Pea Ridge followed in 1963 and a bank in Rogers in 1975. In 1984 the company began an expansion phase by buying First National Bank of Siloam Springs, and in 1986 it bought McIlroy Bank & Trust in Fayetteville. By 2006 the bank was operating more than 200 branches, and today Arvest serves Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Security features

Bank and printer checks meet the same banking standards; what differs is the security features you choose and how the box is delivered. Order only through Arvest Online Banking, the Arvest app, the Arvest phone numbers above or a printer site you typed in yourself.

Checks Unlimited lists chemical protection, erasure protection and a microprint signature line on its checks. Its SentryShield check fraud protection is added to orders for an extra charge, and you can remove it in the cart. Choose trackable delivery and keep unused checks locked away.

Delivery time

Arvest doesn’t publish a check delivery time in its check FAQ; Deluxe shows the shipping options when you order.

Checks Unlimited: printing and standard delivery take up to 15 business days after order verification, or 7–11 business days with trackable delivery. In-Plant Rush ($6.99) gets your order ready to ship within 2 business days after verification. Carousel lists shipping from Bulk (9–18 business days) to Next Day Air, plus processing time.
