Wildlife check designs
Checks Unlimited files these designs under its Animal, Charitable and Special Edition categories. Every check carries chemical protection, erasure protection and a microprint signature line, and the product pages say the images are enhanced to show detail. Descriptions come from each product page, checked October 20, 2026:
| Design | What is on it | Price for 80 |
|---|---|---|
| Wildlife Adventure | Illustrated wildlife in natural habitats | $23.49 |
| Earth Echoes | Photos of polar bears, a gray wolf, a breaching orca and a bald eagle, with an inspirational verse | $23.49 |
| Endangered Young’uns | Illustrated pairs of baby gray wolves, snow leopards, sea otters and arctic seals | $23.49 |
| Safari | Some of Africa’s native animals | $23.49 |
| Owls | Whimsical owls by Connie Haley | $23.49 |
| Watercolor Birds | Birds on branches by Connie Haley | $23.49 |
| Forest Friends | A fox, hedgehog, raccoon and frog by Connie Haley | $23.49 |
| Penguin Parade | Emperor penguins in their habitat | $23.49 |
| Northwoods | Waterfront woodland scenes by Andrea Tachiera | $23.49 |
Illustrated designs such as Wildlife Adventure, Owls and Forest Friends have softer colors and leave the payee and amount lines easy to read. Photo designs such as Earth Echoes and Buckmasters show more detail. If you write many checks by hand, pick a design with a light background behind the writing lines.

Conservation group checks
Checks Unlimited carries licensed designs from several wildlife nonprofits. Each costs $26.49 for a box of 80:
- National Wildlife Federation: four illustrations by Rosemary Millette of deer, foxes, buffalo and a bear. A matching checkbook cover costs $18.99.
- Defenders of Wildlife Wolves: four photographs of wolves in the wild by wildlife photographer Jim Brandenburg.
- Defenders of Wildlife big cats: tigers, leopards, cougars and lynxes.
- Defenders of Wildlife Owls: owl designs from the same partner.
- Ranger Rick Wild Babies: baby gorillas, tigers, a fox and a seal, from the National Wildlife Federation.
The product pages say Checks Unlimited is proud to offer these designs, but they do not say how much of the price reaches the group. If supporting the cause is the point, give to it directly and buy the checks for the art. Our World Wildlife Fund checks page covers the WWF design.
Deer, elk and duck checks
Three designs suit hunters and outdoor families. Buckmasters checks ($26.49) show detailed photographs of trophy bucks on a snow-covered hill and in tall grass. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation checks show elk in their natural habitat and cost the standard $23.49; the foundation works for elk, other wildlife, their habitat and hunting heritage. Ducks Unlimited checks ($26.49) come from the group that conserves wetlands for North American waterfowl, with a matching checkbook cover at $18.99.
