WaFd Bank and EverBank merger: what it means for your checks
On September 7, 2026, WaFd, Inc., the parent of WaFd Bank, and EverBank Financial Corp agreed to merge. WaFd Bank is set to merge into EverBank, N.A., and the combined holding company is to take the EverBank Financial Corp name. The companies expect to complete the deal in early 2027, subject to regulatory approval and a vote of WaFd shareholders.
Until then, WaFd tells customers it is business as usual: keep banking with WaFd as you always have, and WaFd will let you know when things change. Order checks the way you do today, with the numbers WaFd shows for your account. WaFd lists routing number 325070980.
Reorder from WaFd: sign in to WaFd online banking, choose the checking account, and select Order Checks from the Action menu on the right. WaFd sends you to Deluxe, its check vendor, to finish the order, and charges your account once the order is processed. If you changed your address in the last 10 days, wait until 10 days have passed.
