Checks Unlimited says it is always the right season for Buckmasters checks: the design features detailed photographs of bucks in their natural habitats, from a snow-covered hill to a field of tall grass. The box rotates four photos, with the Buckmasters logo in the top left corner of each check and a green border:
- Does and a big buck at the edge of a meadow in tall grass.
- A close-up of a heavy-racked buck in autumn brush.
- A buck standing on a snowy hillside under a blue sky.
- A buck walking through open woods in late fall.
The photos fade behind the payee line and the amount box, so the writing stays readable. These are top-tear personal checks with your bank details in the MICR line, so they work with any U.S. checking account. Painted deer: NWF Wildlife checks
The National Wildlife Federation Wildlife checks use paintings by Rosemary Millette. Checks Unlimited says the four designs show deer, foxes, buffalo and a bear. The deer check has a whitetail buck and two does in a golden autumn field with birch trees behind them, and each check carries the NWF logo and the line Support National Wildlife Federation.
The matching NWF Wildlife checkbook cover costs $18.99, and Checks Unlimited says it shows a still of deer in their surroundings by the same artist. If you want deer on the cover as well as the checks, this is the set to buy. The product code for the checks is 874.
Elk checks: RMEF
For elk, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation checks capture elk in their natural habitat. Checks Unlimited says the foundation works to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and hunting heritage. The four photos by Donald Jones show bull elk in a meadow, in snow, splashing through water and bugling, with the RMEF logo on each check. They cost $23.49 a box, the standard price, and the RMEF leather checkbook cover with the foundation logo costs $18.99. The product code is 861. - Proofread the preview, especially the account number, then pick delivery and pay.
