The four Puppy Tales designs
Checks Unlimited says these illustrations capture the curiosity of puppies exploring nature. The Puppy Tales checks rotate four paintings through the box:
- Two black and white puppies in a wicker basket, shown in the photo above
- A white retriever puppy watching a robin on a snowy branch
- Two spaniel puppies in tall summer grass
- Two golden retriever puppies by a fence with yellow flowers
These are top-tear personal checks with your bank details in the MICR line, so they work with any U.S. checking account. The product code is 860. The Playful Pups checks (product code 704) are the second puppy design, with friendly duos of dogs and matching labels.

How to order puppy checks
- Have a current check from the same account in front of you. The account number, routing number and next check number come from it.
- Pick singles or duplicates and the number of boxes. Each box holds 80 checks.
- Enter your name, address, bank routing number, account number and the starting check number, as the Checks Unlimited how-to-order page asks.
- Add the Puppy Tales cover, labels or a spare register on the same page if you want them.
- Proofread the preview, especially the account number, then pick delivery and pay.
The Checks Unlimited FAQ says the routing number you enter gives the printer all the information it needs about your bank. The how-to-order page lists the same fields we did above, and our reorder guide walks through each screen.
Delivery and security
The product page lists printing and standard untrackable delivery at up to 15 business days and printing with standard trackable delivery at 7 to 11 business days, both counted after order verification. In-Plant Rush costs $6.99 and gets the order processed and ready to ship within 2 business days after verification. SentryShield fraud protection is added to every order for an extra charge that you can remove in the cart.
Every design on this page carries the same three security features as the plain Checks Unlimited checks: chemical protection, erasure protection and a microprint signature line. If you mail checks often, our check washing guide explains how to make them harder to alter.
