What The Muppets checks look like
Checks Unlimited introduces its Disney The Muppets checks with a line every fan knows: it is time to raise the curtain. The product page says that for nearly 40 years Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal and the rest of the Muppets have shared their zaniness with generations of fans, and it calls the checks sensational, inspirational, celebrational and Muppetational.
The characters fill the background of each check, behind the payee line, the amount box and the signature line. Everything your bank needs prints in the usual places: your name and address at the top left, the check number at the top right, and the routing number, account number and check number in the MICR line along the bottom. Banks process them the same way as plain checks.
The Muppets checks come in the standard top-tear wallet size, as singles or duplicates. A duplicate leaves a carbonless copy of each check in the book. Our duplicate checks guide explains when that copy helps.
Muppets check prices
The Muppets is a Disney design, so it sits in the Checks Unlimited licensed-design price tier. Prices checked October 20, 2026, 80 checks per box:
| Design | 1 box (80) | 2 boxes (160) | 4 boxes (320) | Duplicates, 1 box |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Muppets checks, singles | $26.49 | $44.29 | $81.79 | $32.49 |
| Blue Classic checks (plain, for comparison) | $23.49 | $38.99 | $72.29 | $29.49 |
Duplicates cost $32.49 for one box, $54.29 for two and $99.79 for four. Four boxes of singles bring the price down to about 26 cents a check, against about 33 cents for a single box. Compared with the plain Blue Classic design at $23.49, the Muppets artwork costs $3.00 more per box at the one-box price.
On October 20, 2026 the Checks Unlimited Special Offers page listed two codes, and only one code works per order: 8FJD for a free 4th box of checks with a 4-box order, and KQTG for up to 30% off 2 boxes or up to 35% off 4 boxes. Our Checks Unlimited guide explains which one saves more on your order.
Three habits keep the cost of character checks down. First, order four boxes at once if you write more than a few checks a month: 320 checks cover a year for someone who writes six checks a week, and the four-box price is the lowest per check. Second, pick singles unless you need the carbon copy, because duplicates add about $6.00 per box. Third, skip In-Plant Rush unless you are nearly out of checks; order your next box when you reach the last 20 or so checks and standard delivery is enough.
