Pembroke Welsh Corgi checks at Carousel
Carousel’s corgi checks (item DOG-107) rotate four soft-focus photos, so the checks in a pad don’t all look the same:
- a corgi sitting up, ears high and tongue out,
- a corgi bounding through the snow,
- a corgi trotting across a snowy field,
- two corgis side by side, smiling at the camera.

Carousel describes the set as featuring the short-legged herding breed “famously owned by British royalty.” Prices on October 17, 2026:
| Quantity | Singles | Duplicates |
|---|---|---|
| 1 box (100 checks) | $25.50 | $28.50 |
| 2 boxes | $46.00 | $53.00 |
| 4 boxes | $92.50 | $103.50 |
Corgi puppy checks at Bank Checks Plus
Prefer puppies? The Pembroke Welsh Corgi checks at Bank Checks Plus (item QBB-79) use four corgi puppy photos, from a close-up of a face resting on its paws to a puppy sitting up, framed by a dark rose edge. One box of 100 singles was $28.24, two boxes $53.09 and four boxes $101.65. Duplicates start at $39.54.

Photo checks with your own corgi
Your own corgi beats any stock photo, and a corgi’s long, low body fits the wide shape of a check better than most breeds. Single Photo checks at Checks Unlimited (product code 656) print one picture on every check: $28.49 for 80 singles, $49.59 for two boxes and $87.69 for four. Multiple Photo checks rotate up to four pictures for the same price. Carousel’s Custom Photo checks are $28.50 for 100.
Photos that work well:
- a side-on shot of the full “loaf,” short legs and all,
- the classic sploot, back legs stretched out flat behind,
- a low-angle portrait outdoors, taken at your corgi’s eye level,
- your corgi herding the kids, the cat or a ball across the yard.
Checks Unlimited’s photo rules: a JPG, JPEG or BMP file at least 432 × 198 pixels and under 4 MB. Colors are printed lighter than the original so the check meets ANSI banking standards, so bright, well-lit photos work best. By ordering, you also agree to cover Checks Unlimited against any copyright or trademark claim, so upload only pictures you took yourself.
Want a general dog design instead? Checks Unlimited’s animal checks include Playful Pups and Good Dog, from $23.49 a box. Neither one includes a corgi.

Pembroke or Cardigan?
There are two corgi breeds, and both come from Wales, where farmers used them to herd cattle by nipping at their heels. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi has pointed ears and a short tail, and it’s the corgi Queen Elizabeth II made famous: she owned more than 30 of them during her reign. The Cardigan Welsh Corgi is a little heavier, has rounder ears and a long, full tail, and comes in more colors, including blue merle and brindle. “Corgi” is usually translated from Welsh as “dwarf dog.” Both check designs above show Pembrokes, so Cardigan owners will get the best match from a photo check.

Are these Pembroke or Cardigan corgis?
Both ready-made designs show Pembroke Welsh Corgis, the red-and-white, short-tailed corgi most people picture. We didn’t find a Cardigan Welsh Corgi design, so Cardigan owners should use a photo of their own dog.

Will my bank accept corgi checks?
Yes. These printers make standard personal checks with your bank’s routing and account numbers, which work at any U.S. bank.
