Maltese checks you can order today
Only one Maltese check design is sold right now, and it comes from Carousel Checks. We looked through both Carousel and Checks Unlimited on October 27, 2026: Checks Unlimited’s dog designs do not include a Maltese.
The Carousel set rotates four photographs of a Maltese with its signature floor-length white coat. In the image below the dog sits in front of a bank of pink flowers, which gives the checks a soft, feminine look rather than a busy one, and your printed name and address stay easy to read against it.
The Maltese is one of the oldest toy breeds, prized on the Mediterranean island it is named after for well over two thousand years. Adults usually weigh under seven pounds, the coat is a single layer of hair rather than fur, and owners often keep it clipped short as a “puppy cut” for easier care. That small, bright-eyed face is what makes the breed such a popular subject for photo checks.
Maltese (Carousel Checks, DOG-103). Four photos of a white Maltese, one shown here among pink blossoms.
Maltese labels (Carousel Checks, LBDOG-103). The same Maltese photography as self-adhesive return address labels.
Because it is a standard Carousel design, the Maltese checks can be printed as singles or duplicates, and the order page lets you add matching labels or a cover in one go. We did not find a side-tear or top-stub version of this design.

Maltese check questions
Where can I buy Maltese checks?
Carousel Checks sells them as Maltese Personal Checks (DOG-103). It is the only Maltese design we could find from either printer.
Are there Maltese address labels to match?
Yes. Maltese address labels use the same photos, so your envelopes match your checks.
Will my bank accept photo checks like these?
Yes. The routing and account numbers are printed along the bottom in the same machine-readable format as plain checks; the photo is only background.
