Farm check designs
Every design below is a standard Checks Unlimited personal check in the top-tear format, with four scenes in the box. The bank information prints in the MICR line at the bottom, so the checks work with any U.S. checking account. The artwork sits behind the text, and the payee line, amount box and signature line are in the usual places.
| Design | What is on the checks | 1 box (80) | Matching extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barnyard Buddies | Children on a red tractor with chickens, a girl with a kitten and cows, a boy in a cornfield, kids with a wagon and puppies | $23.49 | Cover $18.99, labels $8.99 |
| Watercolor Farm | A cow, a lamb, a pig and a horse in bright watercolor | $23.49 | Cover $18.99, labels $8.99 |
| Country ‘Scapes | A mill in snow, a garden wheelbarrow, a harvest wagon with pumpkins, a farmhouse with a goose | $23.49 | Labels $8.99 |
| Horse Play | Photos of horses running and grazing, including a mare and foal | $23.49 | Labels $8.99 |
Checks Unlimited does not sell John Deere or other tractor-brand checks. The red tractor on the first Barnyard Buddies scene is the closest match in its range, and the design names no brand.
Barnyard Buddies: tractors and chickens
Checks Unlimited says its Barnyard Buddies checks are beautifully illustrated and feature children, animal friends, tractors and life on the farm. The art is by Donald Zolan and is credited to The Zolan Company. The four scenes on the product page:
- A boy driving a small red tractor past hay bales, with white chickens around the wheels and a younger child on the bales.
- A girl holding a kitten in the hay, with black and white cows in the field behind her.
- A boy in a straw hat picking corn in a tall cornfield, with a red wagon and a puppy.
- Two small children with a red wagon full of puppies beside a farmhouse clothesline.
If you searched for chicken or rooster checks, the tractor scene is the one with the birds. It is the only chicken artwork in the Checks Unlimited farm designs, and it shares the box with the other three scenes. The product code is 529.
The matching Barnyard Buddies checkbook cover is barn red full grain leather with stitched and debossed accents and a full color picture of the Tractor Ride by Donald Zolan, $18.99.
Watercolor Farm: farm animal checks
The Watercolor Farm checks are by artist Connie Haley. Checks Unlimited says that whether you love horses or cows, these watercolor farm animals are unlike any checks you have seen. Each of the four scenes is one animal painted in layers of bright color on a white background: a cow, a lamb, a pig and a horse. The white space keeps the writing lines clear, so these read well at the bank as well as at the farm stand.
The Watercolor Farm checkbook cover shows the watercolor pig and costs $18.99. The Watercolor Farm labels carry all four animals, $8.99 for a set of 200. The product code is 842. For more cow designs, see our cow checks page.
Country ‘Scapes and horse checks
Checks Unlimited describes Country ‘Scapes checks as quintessential countryside images in seasonal vignettes featuring charming farmhouses, barns, bridges and wagons. The four scenes are painted in soft colors: a stone mill with a water wheel in snow, a spring garden with a wheelbarrow, an autumn harvest wagon beside pumpkins, and a blue farmhouse with a goose in the yard. It suits anyone who wants a farm look without animals or cartoons. Our scenic checks guide lists more countryside designs.
For horse owners, Horse Play checks use photography to show the strength, speed and beauty of horses: a paint mare with her foal, a bay at a gallop, a chestnut running through a field and three horses standing together. Horse Play is also sold as Side Tear Horse Play checks for $25.49 a box, with the tear on the left like a wallet checkbook. Our horse checks page has more horse designs.

How to order farm checks
- Have a current check from the same account in front of you. The account number, routing number and next check number come from it.

- Add the matching cover or labels if you want them. They are listed on the same product page as add-ons.
- Proofread the preview, especially the account number, then pick delivery and pay.
The Checks Unlimited FAQ says the routing number you enter gives the printer all the information it needs about your bank, and that standard printing generally takes 2 to 5 business days. The how-to-order page lists the same fields we did above. Our reorder guide walks through each screen.
Checks Unlimited lists printing and standard untrackable delivery at up to 15 business days and printing with standard trackable delivery at 7 to 11 business days, both counted after order verification. In-Plant Rush costs $6.99 and gets the order processed and ready to ship within 2 business days after verification. Prices include handling fees, and SentryShield fraud protection is added to every order for an extra charge that you can remove in the cart.
Every design on this page carries the same three security features as the plain Checks Unlimited checks: chemical protection, erasure protection and a microprint signature line. For a farm business account with payroll or vendor checks, use business checks instead. Our business checks guide compares the formats.
