Every Checks Unlimited business check has chemical protection, erasure protection and a microprint signature line. The High Security line adds more. On each High Security product page Checks Unlimited lists:
- Security hologram: a reflective image that cannot be photocopied or removed, hot stamped into the check stock as a visible sign the check is real.
- Padlock icon that marks the check as one with security features.
- Heat-sensitive ink and chemically sensitive paper that react to copying and washing.
- Microprint that breaks up if scanned and a high resolution warning band.

Formats: 3-on-a-page and laser
The business Security Center says High Security checks come in Blue or Parchment in 3-on-a-Page, Check-on-Top and No Voucher formats. In detail:
- High Security 3-on-a-Page: manual checks you write by hand, in High Security Premium Classic Blue or Premium Parchment, one-part or duplicate. They fit a 7-ring binder.
- High Security Check-on-Top: one laser check at the top of the sheet with two voucher stubs below, in unlined or lined versions, one-part. This is the voucher layout QuickBooks prints.
- High Security No Voucher: three laser checks per sheet with no stubs, unlined or lined, one-part. QuickBooks calls this the standard layout.

Checks Unlimited vs QuickBooks Secure checks
Intuit sells its own secure checks for QuickBooks. On October 21, 2026 the QuickBooks Checks and Supplies store listed Basic Voucher Checks starting at $55.49 for 50 with minimal protection against fraud, Secure Plus Voucher Checks starting at $76.70 for 50 with 23 security features, and Secure Premier Voucher Checks starting at $83.57 for 50 with 29 security features, including a security hologram. Intuit only shows starting prices for 50, so price your real quantity in its cart before you compare.
For reference, Checks Unlimited High Security Check-on-Top costs $156.48 for 500, about 31 cents a check, and Intuit’s $83.57 for 50 works out to about $1.67 a check at that size. Intuit’s phone line for sales is (866) 570-3842.
