How Deluxe check orders work
Deluxe’s ordering FAQ spells it out: the checks on its bank ordering site are sold to you by your financial institution, and Deluxe is that institution’s preferred wholesale check supplier. Your bank hires Deluxe to make the checks and to process, handle and deliver the orders. That is why your bank’s order link opens a Deluxe page.
Three things follow from that setup:
- Your bank sets the price. Deluxe says the price is set by your financial institution, based on your account program, any waivers or discounts, and what the bank pays Deluxe.
- Payment comes out of your checking account as an ACH debit, not on a card.
- Designs vary by bank. Deluxe notes that availability of designs varies by financial institution, and some accounts can’t order certain designs or accessories.
How to order Deluxe checks through your bank
Start from your bank’s online banking or order-checks page, or go straight to Deluxe’s personal checks site. You can use it when all four of these are true:
- Your bank or credit union uses Deluxe as its check supplier.
- Your bank offers online reordering to its customers.
- Your last check order was placed with Deluxe.
- You know the ZIP code printed on your last check order.
Enter your routing number, account number and ZIP code to sign in and see pricing. Deluxe keeps order information for up to 5 years; if your last order is older, or the site can’t find it, place the order through your bank. For help, call Deluxe at 866-838-5301 (the site header lists 877-838-5287).
What not to print: Deluxe recommends leaving your Social Security number, driver’s license number and other unneeded personal details off your checks.
What Deluxe checks cost
Deluxe doesn’t publish one price list for bank orders. You see the price only after you sign in, and it depends on your bank and your account program, including any waivers or discounts your account carries. Deluxe says most personal check designs come in packs of 60 checks, and Mini-Paks hold one pad of 25.

Checks Unlimited is the trade name of Direct Checks Unlimited Sales, Inc., according to its terms and conditions, and Deluxe Corporation lists Direct Checks Unlimited Sales, Inc.
